Description

HG Grout Cleaner has been specially designed to remove heavy staining from your grout joints on floors & walls in such rooms as kitchens, bathrooms & WCs. The solution is a buffered, synthetic agent that cleans all grouting between glazed wall & floor tiles as well as masonry.

1 litre is enough to clean a 10-15m2 wall or floor area. 

Directions for use

Dilute HG Grout Cleaner Concentrate at a ratio of 1:4 with lukewarm water. Apply with a stiff broom or scrubbing brush. Leave to work & penetrate the stains, scrub well, then rinse with water & leave to dry.

If brown or yellow stains are still present after cleaning, this indicates the presence of limescale & HG recommend that this will need to be removed with HG Professional Limescale Remover. For blackening of mould in the bathroom, HG recommend HG mould spray.

Also available in a Ready-to-Use Spray.

This product is not suitable for use on grout of lime-containing tiles such as marble. 

Safety Information

Danger - Causes severe skin burns & eye damage. 

  • If medical advice is needed, have product container or label to hand. 
  • Keep out of reach of children. 
  • Wear protective gloves and eye protection. 
  • If swallowed, rinse mouth. Do not induce vomiting. 
  • If on skin, take off all contaminated clothing immediately & rinse skin with water.
  • If in eyes, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present & easy to do then continue rinsing.

Please note that we don't deliver to Northern Ireland, The Republic of Ireland, any offshore areas (including Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Isle of Wight) or outside of the UK.

After the announcement today from the Welsh First Minster any furniture orders placed for delivery in Wales by our own delivery team will not be delivered until after the lockdown restrictions have been lifted on the 9th November.


Express as Standard 

  • £4.95 delivery charge on orders up to £50
  • Orders over £50 are FREE, excluding Furniture. Discount will be applied at checkout.
  • Standard Delivery is usually within 24-48 hours depending on our stock location. You should never have to wait longer than 3-5 working days and will receive separate notification of delivery date from our courier partners.
  • Free Delivery is not offered on deliveries to remote addresses or orders for heavy items.

Regional Delivery

  • Up to £30.00 delivery charge for Furniture that requires special delivery by our own personel, within three Regional Areas according to postcode.
  • One heavy item surcharge is applied no matter how many heavy items are ordered.
  • Delivery for heavy items is usually 7-14 days and there is a designated delivery day per area. However this is subject to stock and you will be contacted by your local branch to confirm stock and a delivery date.

Remote Deliveries

  • £29.99 delivery charge for all addresses classified as Mainland Highlands by our courier partners.
  • Mainland Highland postcodes include IV3-IV40, IV49, IV52-IV54, IV63, KW1-KW14, PA20-PA40, PH19-PH40 and PH50.
  • Sorry, we do not deliver to postcodes  classified as non-mainland  by our courier partners, i.e offshore.  This  includes islands and Northern Ireland.

It is your responsibility to ensure that someone is available to sign  for the delivery if required, we will not leave your order without a  signature confirming the goods have been delivered. If you are not at  home when our courier delivers your order, they will leave a card for  you to call them to arrange a more convenient delivery time.

Alternatively we will deliver to your work address or to a neighbour where stipulated.


Credit Card Fraud Safety and your delivery

We  take internet fraud extremely seriously, your protection is of  paramount importance to us.  Orders that are over £200 in value will  only be delivered to the billing address, this is a security measure  used in conjunction with our fraud checks to give our customers added  fraud protection.  An additional fraud check for orders over £200 is  that we may ask you to provide a utility bill proving your address  details, we realise this may be inconvenient, however it is a check  recommended by our banking partners to prevent credit card fraud.  This  check is in place for your protection.


The Small Print - Our Delivery Terms & Conditions

  • All items are subject to availability.
  • Delivery times apply to items in stock.
  • If any items you order are not available immediately we may dispatch those items that are available and send the remainder of your order under separate carriage (you will not be charged a second delivery charge in these circumstances). If this affects your order we will confirm you are happy to proceed with your order by e-mail or telephone.
  • Some products may take longer to deliver than next day, for example, they may be delivered direct from the manufacturer. If this affects your order we will notify you as soon as possible. Some lawnmowers & kitchen electrical appliances are subject to a 3-5 day delivery.
  • Deliveries of items arranged via one of our stores are subject to different terms and will be notified to you, and agreed at time of order.
  • Internet deliveries normally occur between 8am and 6pm. DPD will offer a one hour time slot and you are able to request delivery to a Drop-Off point or with a neighbour. Deliveries direct from our suppliers will be notified to you via email with a tracking link.
  • Working days for deliveries are classified as Monday to Friday and exclude Bank Holidays.
  • Unless otherwise stated, all deliveries will be made direct to your door. Our courier partners are not responsible for any additional lifting or carrying of your goods.
  • If you wish to send items to multiple addresses please complete an order separately for each address.
  • Please leave a day-time telephone number so we can contact you should any queries arise.
  • If your order contains more than one item the products may be delivered separately even if they have the same estimated delivery dates because our products may come from different delivery partners. You will not incur additional delivery charges under these circumstances.
  • We reserve the right to refuse to supply any individual or company.
  • We reserve the right not to deliver orders if we believe the address is not secure, for example, a communal postal address or PO Box. If this affects an order you place, we will notify you as soon as possible.
